My research on the refraction of glass led me to design a vase that uses the deformation of glass to create an optical illusion. The waves and the sandblasting makes the inner cylinder appear larger.
We collaborate with different glassmakers to create this illusion on glass.
The Wavy vases also exist with reverse sandblasting.
